I am very sad to be looking for a new good home for my beloved Cookie (Kilpara Park Inked Up) preferably in a non-itch area.
Gelded, 10.1hh and 10 years old. Full brother to the very successful KP Jumbuck, and has so much potential.
As a riding pony he is right now perfect as a leadline (patient and non-pushy with leader), and is suitable for a confident beginner off-lead.
He has never shown any bolt, buck or bite, but is a strong little man who simply needs to get back into some consistent ridden work, if this is what you wish to use him for.
While with me he has had refresher training with a trainer every 6 months, and takes very little to get back into form (video available).
Cookie has NOT been left to his own devices in the paddock, and I do liberty with him daily, which he (and I) love (video available).
He comes to you in the paddock and is very people oriented, loves attention and patting.
He has nerves of steel - yet to see something which he gets nervous about.
Fine going out without other horses. He had a promising show career before I got him, but I myself have no interest in showing, so he has not been shown in the 3 years I have owned him.
He was started in harness with previous owner, and also used for RDA work.
Good feet. Never foundered. Up-to-date with worming. Good to wash, trim, and float. Poor Cookie is currently suffering with itch.
I would love for Cookie to go to a new home together with his buddy ‘Bear’ if at all possible (last photo).
Bear is approx 12 yrs old; beautiful companion pony, easy to catch, halter, walk.
Never kicked or bitten. Good feet. Never foundered. No itch.
