What Can I
Advertise on Shetland Pony Sales?

Shetland
Pony Sales is a free classifieds website where
you can advertise any purebred Shetland Pony that is
registered with the Australian Pony Stud Book
Society, or eligible to be
registered as purebred. You can also
advertise Shetland related items such as tack
and equipment as well as wanted ads for
Shetland Ponies and Shetland related items, & Stallions at Stud, .
All show and event results are welcome for submission, even if it is only the results for a single pony and not the full class. Show Societies and breed groups are welcome to list their Shetland related event dates and can also submit their schedules and entry forms in word or pdf format for our site visitors to download.
Please send in any items of interest for inclusion on the news page. This can include show related news items, new Shetland purchases or sales, stud news, breed group or society news - anything that would be of interest to fellow Shetland enthusiasts.
New Foal arrivals have their own special section in the annual Foal Feature. Breeders should submit one picture and the foal details inc name, sex, colour, foaling date, sire & dam. They can also list if the pony is available for sale (yes/no), the price and an email or phone number for contact details. |

How Can I Promote My Stud?
|
|
|
Shetland Sales aims to be the first point of reference for Shetland breeders and enthusiasts, as well as people looking to purchase their first Shetland. With this in mind we encourage breeders to submit their Stud details for the Stud Directory and Links pages.
The Links page gathers together all of the Australian Shetland Studs which can be viewed on the internet. The Stud Directory offers all breeders a chance to promote their studs online, even if they don't have a website or internet access. Just email or post in your studs name, contact details and location, as well as any any other details you would like to include such as a small description of your stud, the type of Shetlands that you produce, and details of your resident stallions. If you have a particular colour scheme for your listing please include this and I will do my best to accommodate your request. You can also submit one large photo or two smaller ones for inclusion on your directory listing. |

ads can be emailed to admin@shetlandsales.com
with the subject heading "Shetland Sales
Australia" or posted to the my address
listed below.
When sending
in your advertisement, consider including the
following details:

Please make
sure that you send in your advertisement text
EXACTLY as you would like it to appear. I will
correct spelling mistakes etc if noticed but
take no responsibility for any incorrect
details published.
I will endeavour to make sure that all ads are online within 48hrs of them being received, time permitting.
Ads will remain online for approx 3 months after which they will be deleted unless you contact me to resubmit them.
If your pony or item sells, please contact us ASAP so that we may update your listing and keep the website at a manageable size. |

Can I add a
photo to my listing?
|
|
|
You
can add up to three (3) photos per
advertisement. Where possible, please ensure
that pictures are resized to a suitable size
before sending. Don't forget to include any
photographer credits when using professional
photos.
Photos
must be sent as an attachment to your email
and must be saved in either jpg, gif, or bmp
format. Please do not embed the photos in your email as they are difficult to save and lose quality.

you do not have access to email or a scanner, please
send your advertisement and photos to:
