Established in 1993, Jenssel Park Shetland Stud is located in Junee, in the beautiful Riverina region of NSW.
We are a small stud of around 12 ponies including youngstock, and usually breed 2-4 foals each year. We aim to breed beautiful, show quality Shetlands with bone and substance, kind temperaments for children and great movement for performance activities. Our mares range in height from 8-10hh but we mostly produce ponies aimed at the 9.2hh & under classes.
Our resident stallion is the lovely Shady Glen Julian. A son of Wells Valetta (imp), Julian is producing excellent foals and still enjoys the odd show outing for his veteran classes. Julian has a fantastic show record which culminated in winning the Supreme Championship at the 2002 International Shetland Show held at Sydney Royal under two UK judges. His first foal for our stud is the beautiful Jenssel Park Bridie who was awarded Champion Filly at the Vic APSB Stud Show in 2011 in her first season of showing.
